We are pleased to announce that Mark Abbott has been made a Partner of Reeds Solicitors LLP, with effect from 1st January 2022.

 

Mark AbbottPartner Mark Abbott joined Reeds in 2016 as a solicitor and Crown Court litigator from Blaser and Mills LLP where he had been a partner and head of the crime practice. As an accredited and experienced court and police station duty solicitor, his vast experience includes representing clients charged with some of the most serious, high profile and complex cases.  He was individually selected to represent a number of those arrested under Operation Elveden and Operation Weeting, including a News International editor charged in connection with Operation Elveden. He represented the defendant in the country’s first double-jeopardy re-trial for murder, and also represented suspects accused of terrorism offences.  Though based primarily in London, Mark is often instructed by clients across the UK.

Mark is consistently listed as a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500’s UK edition where they refer to him as ‘Excellent’ and highlight both his client care as being ‘superb’ and proactive and tireless work ethic.
