Sarah Langley is a solicitor and is part of our Mental Health team, based at our Reading office.  Sarah joined Reeds in February 2020, having already gained over 10 years’ experience in other firms helping clients with issues relating to mental health law.

She routinely helps advise and assist clients and their families with a range of cases relating to detention under the Mental Health Act 1983.  Sarah also represents clients at Mental Health Tribunals, attends CPA’s and Managers hearings, and professionals meeting where appropriate.

Sarah is very personable, and is understanding of how overwhelming and difficult the Tribunal process can appear to clients.  She therefore strives to ensure that the process of having a Tribunal is as stress free as possible, through clear and regular communication with her clients, ensuring that they are aware of what is happening and what to expect at all stages.  As an approachable solicitor with a natural talent for advocacy, she approaches her cases by working closely with her clients to try to achieve the best possible outcome she can for them.
