Georgia Kirk is a Trainee Solicitor, working in our private crime department. She is based in our Oxford office. Georgia assists with case preparation, her tasks include, drafting statements, preparing a client’s proof of evidence, preparing brief’s for counsel, attending court and taking instructions from clients.

Prior to joining Reeds, Georgia worked as an Evidential Review Officer for the Police where she undertook reviews on all criminal cases going to court for prosecution and gave charging advice to officers. Georgia worked closely with officers to make sure offences were made out, that there was sufficient evidence to prove the offence and that disclosure requirements were met. Once satisfied with a case Georgia would authorise the case to either be charged by the Police or to be referred to the CPS for prosecution.

Georgia has a compassionate nature and takes great pride in providing excellent levels of client care during each case. Georgia is extremely organised and proactive; she will ensure all cases are always handled with the utmost care.
