Gemma Cleaver is a paralegal based within the Oxford branch. Gemma qualified as a solicitor whilst working at Darbys in 2014 and has worked exclusively in defence law since 2010.  In 2017, Gemma joined Reeds and now assists our chambers team with a wide range of criminal cases.  Her responsibilities include meeting with clients, witnesses and professionals to take detailed instructions and statements, and she is additionally responsible for the ensuring that deadlines are adhered to and that cases are ready for trial.

Known for her excellent communication skills, Gemma’s clients benefit from her ability to form a quick rapport with them, which is paramount in enabling her achieve the best possible outcomes for them.  Gemma takes great pride in applying the utmost care and attention to her cases, and being a highly organised individual, she is always keen to ensure that her cases are thoroughly and meticulously prepared.
