Craig Tickner is a Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) Advocate in our Criminal department, based in our Bristol office but representing clients at various court centres. He has extensive experience across the entire spectrum of criminal matters having worked within this area of law for over 30 years, most recently as an Equity partner in his previous firm.

Craig has built solid relationships with his clients, many of whom have followed him to Reeds. His straightforward but empathetic approach is appreciated, and he always ensures that clients fully understand the nature of the proceedings they face and receive the best possible advice from beginning to end.

Craig Tickner will primarily be conducting litigation and advocacy at the Magistrates court but will also assist with Police Station advice as well as guidance in relation to matters which will progress to the Crown Court.

In addition to his day-to-day work, Craig has served on the CILEx Board of Directors and was elected as their 57th President in July 2020, during which he helped shape the new CILEx qualifications, and represented the 20,000 CILEx members in matters ranging from Judicial Diversity to the Criminal Legal Aid review.
