Zoe is a Trainee Solicitor currently based within our family team in our High Wycombe office. Zoe attained a First Class degree in Law at Oxford Brookes University before going on to achieve a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws at The University of Law. Whilst studying, she undertook research into whether a suspect truly has the right to remain silent, and presented this at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research.
During her time in the Magistrates and Actions Against Police departments, Zoe gained experience in meeting with clients, obtaining instructions and making observations on evidence. She also worked with clients who wished to make a complaint against the police. Zoe regularly attended the Magistrates’ Court supporting solicitors in first hearings and trials. Zoe is an Accredited Police Station Representative and continues to assist clients at the police station in relation to all offences.
Zoe is now in the family law team working predominantly with clients who are in care proceedings. She has also started to attend pre-proceedings meetings with clients.
Zoe has an approachable nature and has the ability to communicate with and relate to people from different backgrounds. She is passionate about using her legal and interpersonal skills to assist vulnerable people. Zoe is a highly organised individual and will deal with a client’s case professionally and to the best of her ability. She takes pride in providing an excellent service and to exceed expectations in order to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
