Zoe is a Trainee Solicitor currently based within our crime team in our High Wycombe office. Zoe attained a First Class degree in Law at Oxford Brookes University before going on to achieve a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course and Master of Laws at The University of Law. Whilst studying, she undertook research into whether a suspect truly has the right to remain silent, and presented this at the British Conference of Undergraduate Research.
Whilst undertaking her academic studies, Zoe volunteered as a Generalist Adviser at Citizens Advice where she provided free and impartial advice to clients on a number of issues such as debt, family disputes, financial government assistance and employment.
Zoe started her training with Reeds within our Magistrates Court team at the office in High Wycombe. She is currently gaining experience in meeting with clients, obtaining instructions and making observations on evidence. She is familiarising herself with Magistrates’ Court procedure and assisting clients at the police station. Zoe is currently working towards obtaining her Police Station Accreditation. Before joining the High Wycombe team, Zoe was assisting the Family Law team in Oxford where she predominantly dealt with work in relation to care proceedings.
Zoe has an approachable nature and has the ability to communicate with and relate to people from different backgrounds. She is passionate about using her legal and interpersonal skills to assist vulnerable people. Zoe is a highly organised individual and will deal with a client’s case professionally and to the best of her ability. She takes pride in providing an excellent service and to exceed expectations in order to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
