Sue Head is a Crown Court Caseworker based in our Oxford branch. Sue completed a degree in Psychological Studies and Criminology in 2019 and is very experienced, having worked in criminal defence law for almost 18 years.
Sue has worked on many cases, including serious criminal cases of murder, GBH, conspiracies, and drugs matters and has been the main point of contact for her Crown Court clients, routinely managing cases which are at different points of progression within the Criminal Justice System.
Sue assists a team of advocates arranging conferences with clients or prison legal visits to take instructions, witness statements and drafting bail applications. She attends prison or court where needed, attends conferences to support clients and advises them during their case, along with analysing evidence as it becomes available.
She is very approachable and takes client care very seriously, with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, barristers and court officials.#
