Murium Amean is a Trainee Solicitor who is currently sitting within our Complex Crime Team, based in our Bristol branch. Murium graduated with a 2:1 from UWE Bristol in LLB Law. She has completed her LPC and is currently studying to complete her Master of Laws. Murium joined Reeds in March 2021 as a Crown Court Caseworker, with her main duties including taking proofs of evidence from clients, transcribing meetings between clients and counsel, taking witness statements, attending conferences, and attending the Crown Court to assist counsel with trials.

Murium joined the Complex Crime Team in October 2021 and started her Trainee Solicitor role in November 2021. Murium has been exposed to a wide variety of cases within this time due to her experience within both the Crown Court and Complex Crime Team.  She is able to navigate her way through paper heavy cases and dissect the relevant information in order to gage what prosecution evidence can be disputed. She has experience of working with clients who do not speak fluent English and need to communicate via an interpreter/translator. She can maintain the same standard of service to all client’s regardless of their background. Murium has experience of working with clients who face a wide spectrum of charges from domestic violence and GBH to drug offences and money laundering.

With her approachable and understanding nature, Murium is able to empathise with her clients and adapt to each case effectively. Murium loves what she does and hopes that this is reflected in the quality of her work.
