Lottie Jones is a Caseworker in the Mental Health and Court of Protection Team, based in our Cardiff office. Lottie assists the Court of Protection team by bringing cases to the Court of Protection on behalf of an individual or by their Relevant Person’s Representative (RPR) in order to challenge an individual’s deprivation of liberty under s21A of the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Lottie graduated from Cardiff University in 2019 with an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Law. Whilst undertaking her law degree, Lottie worked in the care sector which sparked her interest in the Court of Protection.
Lottie has worked as a paralegal in Court of Protection since 2019 and has experience in managing her own case load. Lottie’s experience includes making applications to the Court of Protection for both lay and professional persons to be appointed as deputies for those that lack the capacity to manage their own property and financial affairs.
With her professional yet personable approach, Lottie always puts her clients in the centre of what she does.
