Julie Fotherby is the manager of our Eastbourne and Lewisham branches, and is responsible for the day to day running of those offices under the supervision of our Practice Manager. Working in conjunction with Team Leaders for our Family and Crime teams in each location on a daily basis, Julie monitors staff levels and makes sure that all client work is appropriately covered. She also deals with personnel management including inductions, the supervision of our support staff and the coordination of appraisals, as well as any issues relating to HR in conjunction with our HR manager, fire safety, compliance, and facilities management in all locations; ultimately ensuring the consistent smooth running of the offices under her care. Julie also supports the Family team in an administrative role.
Her varied role naturally requires Julie to utilise her exceptional communication skills and effective management abilities, and her organisational skills make certain that day to day office requirements are consistently met. Julie has over 35 years’ experience having worked in similar roles in both London and the South East, and is able to utilise her vast knowledge and refined skills in the operations of the two offices she manages to ensure that staff and clients are always met with the highest professional standards.
