George Joseph

“Thank you so much, you have been a great help and we are more than happy with the service you have personally provided us with, very professional!”

George is a paralegal based within the Bristol branch of our integrated chambers.  Before joining Reeds, George gained experience of the criminal justice system as an adviser at the Citizens Advice Bureau, and as an Usher at Swindon Magistrates Court.

He now deals with the full spectrum of criminal offences before the Crown Court and his role requires him to carefully prepare cases for our team of in-house advocates; attending clients at the office or in prison to review the prosecution evidence and take instructions, keeping communications active with the CPS and police and discussing any alterations to charges, or basis of pleas; drafting applications for bail, taking witness and drafting defence statements.

George is known to be an exceptionally focused individual who takes great pride in his ability to scrutinise evidence and utilise deficiencies within it to assist in the defence of his clients.  He is very approachable and is able to build a quick rapport with clients from all walks of life, taking time to ensure that they always understand their options, and what to expect during the lifetime of their case.
