Areas of law:
Emma is a Barrister based within the Oxford branch of our integrated chambers. Emma regularly appears before the courts representing defendants in the Youth Court, the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court.
Prior to qualifying as a Barrister, Emma achieved a BA Honours in Classical Studies and French, went on to complete a Law Conversion and then the Bar Professional Training Course. In order to gain relevant practical experience Emma also worked for 18 months as a paralegal within our Crown Court department., she went on to complete her pupillage with Reeds and subsequently secured tenancy with us.
Emma is a conscientious individual with a strong work ethic, she is committed to achieving the best outcomes for her clients. She is professional yet approachable and tries to put clients at ease, whatever their age or background.
Having spent a year living and working in France, Emma is competent in French language.
