Ellis Wilson is a Trainee Solicitor based in our Cardiff office. Ellis holds a LLb (Hons) Law with Business Studies, as well as recently completing the LPC at the University of West England.
Ellis works on a variety of cases including Actual Bodily Harm, Possession of Bladed Article, Public Order offences and Theft. Ellis is the point of contact between the client, advocates and instructed counsel. He also manages proceedings that are progressed to the crown court, attends conferences with clients in order to take instructions, reviews disclosed used and unused materials served by the CPS in order to accurately assess the impact of such findings, and liaises with legal authorities on behalf of clients, ensuring the client is kept up to date with their case.
Prior to Reeds, Ellis participated in 6 months of voluntary work at Pure Law Criminal Defence Solicitors, Cardiff, and upon completion of his LPC, relocated to North Wales to undertake a 6 month Paralegal contract at Hopleys GMA Solicitors.
Ellis’ interpersonal skills allow all his clients to feel at ease. He also approaches all of his cases thoroughly and logically, ensuring they are handled with the upmost care.
