Efe is a Solicitor in our family department in Reading. She completed her training with the firm and worked as a paralegal in the family department prior to this.

Efe has extensive experience with matters concerning domestic abuse and private children law. Having completed her Law Degree at the University of Sussex in 2014, she worked for the National Centre for Domestic Violence as a caseworker whilst completing her Legal Practice Course (LPC), whereby she assisted victims of domestic abuse in obtaining protective Court Orders. After completing her LPC, Efe was seconded to a regional law firm where she continued to specialise in domestic abuse and private children law cases before taking on a similar role at a small London practice. She also worked as a Care Ambassador for a Local Authority from 2013-2015, which saw her working with other care leavers, and acting as a voice for children in care to make improvements to the care system.

At Reeds, Efe runs her own caseload consisting of public and private children matters, as well as domestic abuse and divorce cases. She also successfully represents clients at pre-proceedings meetings and conducts advocacy in relation to public and private children matters.

Known as a friendly and approachable member of the team, Efe is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and families. She takes pride in her ability to be able to explain things clearly to clients and understands the importance of offering tailored advice based on their own specific circumstances.
