Amy joined Reeds in 2016 from Blaser Mills LLP, as a solicitor in the Magistrates Court Team, and the Team Leader for our High Wycombe Office.  Amy specialises in all aspects of criminal defence work in the Magistrates Court and Youth Court, and as an accredited duty solicitor, is additionally able to provide her clients with 24 hour Police station advice.

Amy has extensive experience in dealing with allegations of benefit fraud, which has led to her being sought after throughout the Thames Valley for her exceptional knowledge in this area. Her outstanding expertise, combined with her meticulous preparation of cases, practical attitude and quality advice, have made Amy the first choice for many clients seeking representation when they have received a request for an interview under caution from the Local Authority, or summons to Court.

Amy’s calm approach to her criminal defence work sees her assistance requested frequently in the Youth Court. She excels in putting young clients at ease, explaining the law to them in a way they understand, and presenting their case in court with exceptional skill.

Amy also leads our Actions Against the Police Team, where she deals with cases in a sensitive but robust manner, and has achieved notable success in obtaining substantial compensation payments for clients.
