Barristers & Solicitor-Advocates
Reeds is a successful, progressive law firm operating an already sizeable, experienced and reputable barrister-led integrated Chambers across the South of England.
Our aim is to be at the forefront of an effectively fused profession; providing both our advocates and clients with the best qualities of a Chambers complemented by the support, structure and security of a large, established law firm.
We are always looking for individuals who relish the challenge and breadth of work that the independent Bar provides, but who are also attracted to being part of a strong, mutually supportive and expanding team. We welcome speculative applications and enquiries from members of the Bar or solicitor-advocates at all levels and particularly from those who already have significant experience in serious sexual and high value/complex work generally.
All enquiries and applications will be handled in the strictest confidence.
We are a constantly growing practice enjoying success in a difficult market. Our success is driven by our desire to provide the best quality client service possible, while developing and maintaining efficient in-house practices. We currently have four busy offices as part of our integrated Chambers; in Bristol, Reading, Milton Keynes and Oxford, and seven accredited pupil supervisors. Pupils will be based in one of the branches of Chambers, where they will be guided and assessed primarily by their pupil supervisor, but also with the opportunity to gain experience with other advocates. We are conscious to ensure that our pupils are provided with all the benefits of a ‘traditional’ pupillage but with the added advantage of an insight into the workings of an effective solicitors’ practice. In this way we believe that we are able to offer a unique and holistic experience that will ultimately provide the best grounding for any aspiring advocate in the current climate, whether they ultimately pursue a career at the employed or independent Bar.
If you have any general enquiries about recruitment at Reeds, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that we do not accept speculative pupillage applications.
We are looking for an additional caseworkers to join our busy Crown Court department in our Bristol and Oxford Offices.
