Northampton is the county town of Northamptonshire and sits at the heart of the UK’s “Golden Triangle” of logistics, with major employment in warehousing and distribution, manufacturing and financial services. The M1 runs directly through the county, with the A14 providing further links to the East Coast ports and Birmingham. The wider area takes in Daventry, Kettering, Wellingborough and the Silverstone motorsport cluster, and is home to the University of Northampton.
