Reeds Solicitors welcomes Jeremy Moore as a new member
opens an office in Manchester and Sports Law department
Reeds Solicitors welcome Jeremy Moore (previously of Carter Moore Solicitors) as a new Member of the firm as of 1st July 2020.
Jeremy will head up our new Manchester office and will build a team around him specialising in sports law, complex criminal defence and private appeals work.
Jeremy has acted for many high-profile clients throughout his career, including Barry George in his successful appeal following his conviction for the murder of television presenter Jill Dando. Jeremy further assisted in securing Mr George’s acquittal in his subsequent retrial. Jeremy represented Levi Bellfield for the murder of Milly Dowler, and more recently Victorino Chua in his trial relating to the deaths at Stepping Hill Hospital.
Jeremy will continue his work as a specialist in complex and high profile criminal defence cases, from serious fraud to complex murder cases and extradition matters.
With a strong reputation for representing well known sports clubs, players and agents in contractual issues and litigation matters, Jeremy will be launching Reeds’ Sports Law department and is currently on the Board and providing legal advice to Cheadle Town FC.
