Luana Silliton is a Solicitor, working in our Family Law Department in our Swindon office. Luana qualified in 2019 after completing her training contract with Reeds.
Since joining Reeds, Luana has assisted the family team with an array of cases, both private and public. She has worked on matters such as divorce, financial arrangements, and child arrangements, as well as care proceedings.
In the course of her work, Luana has attended hearings with clients and has taken on a very proactive approach with clients. She diligently takes instructions from clients in meetings and drafts statements. Luana is passionate about helping those involved in care proceedings and indeed has experience in dealing with these highly sensitive and challenging cases, throughout her training at Reeds. As a result of her experience, Luana is able to offer a high level of support to clients, as well as helping them navigate the complexities of these cases. She has also worked closely with vulnerable clients in cases involving allegations of domestic abuse, and has the skills and approachable nature to communicate with them in a way that helps them to feel supported through her patience and wish to ensure that clients are truly being listened to.
Luana is fluent at conversing with clients in Portuguese.
