Judy Matthews is our Practice Manager, and is based at our office in Oxford. Having originally studied Law and Administration in the Czech Republic, Judy undertook roles as a supervisor and project manager in a construction company in London, and with TFL and London Underground on a project preparing the city for the Olympics in 2012.
Judy has been with Reeds since 2010 and at one time or another has held almost every administrative position within the company, from secretary to office manager. As practice manager for the firm, including our integrated Chambers, Judy is a key member of the firm’s management team. Judy manages and supervises the team of local Office Managers, as well as the firm’s IT Department. Judy’s varied yet integral role also sees her working closely with the firm’s compliance officers overseeing and ensuring the maintenance of our high-quality standards as part of our commitment to the provision of exceptional client care. In addition, Judy is responsible for the firm’s annual Lexcel compliance audit and has an unparalleled understanding of the Lexcel requirements.
