Jess Reddy is a Child Law accredited Solicitor and Team Leader, currently based within the family team at our office in Swindon. Jess read law at Oxford Brookes University and completed her professional legal studies with the University of Law before joining Reeds. Since then she has gained experience in criminal defence work as a paralegal and accredited Police station representative, prior to accepting a training contract with us in 2016; ultimately qualifying in 2018.
Jess now predominantly accepts instructions from parents in pre and care proceedings, assisting them with simple cases and also more serious allegations including non accidental injuries, and physical and sexual abuse. In addition to assisting parents with cases involving Social Services, Jess also provides them with advice and representation in private matters in relation to contact and residence, and helps clients resolve issues relating to divorce and non-molestation orders.
Jess is dedicated to our client-centred approach and prides herself on ensuring that clients can feel assured that she has carefully listened to and understood their instructions. She is very patient and understands the importance of clients being able to have time to understand the processes involved in their proceedings, and the possible outcomes relevant to them.
