Jayne Wilkinson

Jayne Wilkinson is a Solicitor based in our busy Magistrates Court team at our Oxford office.  As a vastly experienced duty solicitor, Jayne has represented and defended numerous clients at the Police station and Magistrates Court, but is now particularly sought after to defend young people and juveniles in the Youth Court, which is where many of her loyal clients find her.

Clients value Jayne because of her extensive knowledge of criminal law, and of the complex procedures of the Youth Court.  Jayne is able to build trust easily with young and vulnerable clients of all backgrounds, and fully understands what is at stake for each of them when they appear before the Youth Court.

Jayne’s primary focus is always her client and she approaches all of her cases with that at the forefront of her mind.   She takes time to carefully explain the law to her clients in clear terms, and to ensure that her clients know what to expect in Court at every step; whilst also providing a valuable support to parents and guardians, many of whom are equally unfamiliar with the processes involved in the criminal justice system.  In Court, Jayne is always alert to making sure that her clients understand the procedures, and she presents their case clearly whilst defending their interests strongly.
